Thanks to Kerri over atThe Maven of Social Mediafor reviewing My Baby Compass Books One and Two! Kerri, a mother of two, not only loved the books, but so did her children’s occupational therapist. Here’s an excerpt from her blog entry:
I’m a mom to two great kids. My son, Sebby, is 3 1/2 and was recently diagonosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) my daughter, Quincy, is 14 1/2 months old. Quincy was born 7 1/2 weeks early and has delays in motor development. My kids milestones may not be the same as yours.
Both my Sebby and Quincy see occupational therapists to help them meet their goals, but it’s important to work with them each day on my own to help them “catch up” to their peers.
My Baby Compass is a wonderful series of books that were recently sent to me. Defined as “An Easy Program to Help Your Child Think, Speak, Move & Thrive” it lays out checklist of milestones your child should be reaching and how to help them reach them. At a glance I can know which ones Sebby and Quincy are and are not meeting, which is really helpful for me. The series also offers great tips and pages and pages of American Sign Language illustrations to help communicate with your child.
I showed the books to Quincy’s occupational therapist too, and she was really impressed!
Kerri loved the series so much that The Maven of Social Media is giving away a FREE set of My Baby Compass books to its blog readers!Click here to enter the contest. Hurry – the giveaway ends soon!
